Jeff McCourt, our owner and head cheesemaker, spent over two decades working in the restaurant and food industry as a chef before opening Glasgow Glen Farm. He’s also taught at the Culinary Institute of Canada, co-authored a successful cookbook (PEI Flavours), and worked with many farmers, fishers, food suppliers, restaurateurs, retailers, and event organizers to showcase PEI’s incredible foodscape.
He and the rest of the team at Glasgow Glen Farm have a deep understanding and appreciation of the many challenges and realities that face restaurateurs and food retailers. We get it and we are committed to making your Gouda cheese sourcing as smooth and easy as possible!

We Offer a Full Line of Artisanal Gouda Cheeses
At Glasgow Glen Farm we love creating new and exciting Gouda flavours alongside the classics that everyone is familiar with.
We offer 15 varieties of flavours including our famous Plain, Herb & Garlic, Red Chili, Beer, Bluda and more.
All of our Gouda cheeses are hand-crafted in small batches at our location in New Glasgow using traditional cheesemaking methods. We pride ourselves on being PEI’s only artisanal cheesemaker.
All of Our Cheeses are Made on PEI Using Island Ingredients Wherever Possible
We are a small, locally-owned family business, so we understand first-hand the importance of supporting our Island farmers and food suppliers. All of the milk used in our cheeses comes from PEI farms and we source as many of our other ingredients from the Island as possible.
We also know that by sourcing locally we can count on getting the very highest-quality milk and other ingredients from our Island farmers. After all, PEI IS Canada’s Food Island for a reason!

Yes, you read that right! We love hitting the road to serve our retail and restaurant partners across the Island. As mentioned above, we’re committed to providing exceptional customer service and we know that delivery to your door can help save you time.
